JACK, 11, HOOVERS UP AT TOP TRUMPS GRAND FINAL!

Well done Jack. And 100,000 well dones to all who entered the Top Trumps Schools Tournament! Britain's newest top 'Top Trump-er' Jack Dyson, 11, has been crowned Britain's official top Top Trump-er in 'ticker tape' style in London.

Jack from Sheffield says he supports Sheffield Wednesday - which means the once mighty but now struggling soccer club have ‘won’ something at last. More than UK 100,000 children entered the 2011 National Top Trumps competition.

Jack attended the tournament with his family, Jayne, Mark and brother Thomas who had a fantastic day with an amazing ending. "We are all so very proud of him!!! Thank you to Top Trumps for an excellent day."

“I’m numb with shock. I didn’t think I would have a chance of winning at all. But it feels fantastic!

A big thanks to my teacher Miss Wood who started the tournament at the school.”

On Saturday 28th May the Grand Final took place at London’s Science Museum with regional champions from the Isle of Skye to Swansea, Newcastle to Newquay who battled it out for five long hours.

In the grand final table at the Grand Final there were five boys and one girl. Two Jacks and two Christophers. One Natalie and one James. Natalie in effect was Britain’s top Top Trumps girl - so well done Natalie from Kent too! And EVERY contestant as well! Jack lifted a trophy and £1,000 for his school.

He will be back at the Science Museum with his classmates as part of an all-expenses paid day out for him and his classmates - part of the prize package.
